B10 Rosensteintunnel and B10/B14 connection at the Leuze

Tunnel & Metro

The Rosenstein tunnel will create a new connection between the Pragsattel junction and the Leuze connection. The traffic will be routed in two lanes per tube in the direction of traffic.

The tunnel has a total length of around 1300m.

The ventilation system is a longitudinal ventilation system, in the north tube an additional emission protection extraction system at the west portal, as well as a smoke extraction system by means of axial fans via intermediate ceiling and smoke extraction flaps.

Completed 2022

The B10/B14 connection at Leuze will be unbundled by constructing the 3rd Leuze tube and a short tunnel. At the same time, the existing tunnel structures of the Leuze (length approx. 280m), Berger (length approx. 150m) and Schwanenplatz tunnels (length approx. 475m) will be safety upgraded or repaired.

Planned completion 2024
