Chemical exhaust air conveyance

Environmental system/Environmental simulation

A central axial fan with special corrosion protection was used to extract laboratory exhaust air from a chemical company as part of a retrofit conversion of the exhaust air system.

Key data

  • Quantity
1 axial fan NW 2000 mm

  • Performance data

Flow rate 180000 m³/h at a total pressure difference of 1205 Pa. Drive power 90 kW, 990 rpm.

  • Particularities
The components that come into contact with the pumped media, such as the impeller, guide vanes unit and inner casing, as well as the motor, were given a highly chemical-resistant special coating in order to be protected against all possible corrosive and chemical stresses.

  • Equipment/ accessory assemblies
Fan with customer-specific mounting brackets and design the vibration-related decoupling to the system by means of spring vibration damper level.

  • Miscellaneous

Fan design to accommodate an on-site diffuser, which was completely intercepted and vibrationally decoupled.
